Saint Mary School

Mr. John Shea, of the Shea Family Charities, passed away on October 16, 2022. Mr. Shea was a champion for Catholic Schools throughout Los Angeles and supported Saint Mary's as well. Among the many philanthropic contributors to Catholic schools in the Archdiocese, few compare to his level of generosity. From tuition assistance to the campuses he modernized and constructed, to the teachers and principals he supported with grants, and the thousands of lives he touched, his loss will be felt deeply by so many. His generous spirit and kind heart made an impact and impression everywhere he went. We are grateful for his support and send prayers to his family.  Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
