Tuition Assistance Program

The school's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) is sponsored by the Catholic Education Foundation and the Shea Foundation. Saint Mary School also offers assistance through our Sponsor-An-Angel Program.  The Tuition Awards Program (TAP) provides financial assistance for economically disadvantaged students so they can attend Catholic school. We are committed to helping families attend our school despite financial restrictions and encourage current and new families to speak with our principal to see what options are available.

Applications for the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) tuition award are available in February in the school office. The Shea Foundation New Student Initiative tuition assistance application is available for new families year-round and can be found online in the documents section of the website/mobile app.  The Sponsor-An-Angel tuition award is also available year-round but the total amount of funds available depends on the donations raised by the school. Families who would like to apply for the Sponsor-An-Angel tuition award should make an appointment with the school principal as these are awarded on a case-by-case basis. Tuition assistance is based on the following criteria:

  • Income

  • Number of children within the family

Completed applications must be returned to the Saint Mary School office by the established deadlines. After applications are submitted, parents/guardians must schedule an appointment to meet with a CEF or school representative for a brief interview. Families will be notified via a letter, email, or phone call if they have received the tuition award.
