Hello! I'm Ms. Doriz Crespo, and I've proudly been at St. Mary’s for seven years and teaching in first grade for three years. First grade is a pivotal year where students build key reading skills through phonics, sight words, and comprehension. Socially, they learn to collaborate and share ideas.

I love hands-on learning, where students engage in creative projects that boost understanding and independence. In math, we focus on addition, subtraction, patterns, and geometry. Science sparks curiosity, while social studies introduces community and diversity.

As part of our Catholic school community, I cherish the opportunity to integrate faith into our learning. We focus on values such as kindness, respect, and service, preparing our students not only for their academic journey but also for their spiritual growth.

I am dedicated to creating a warm and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and inspired to learn. I look forward to another year filled with growth, exploration, and joy in learning!
