Teachers encourage minds to think, hands to create, and hearts to love.

Ms. Teresa Richardson
Saint Mary School: 3rd Grade - Ms. Teresa Richardson
My name is Ms. Teresa Richardson and I am the 3rd-grade teacher at St. Mary School.
I believe that the wonderful world of the first grade should be a place for the students to grow in faith, learn, engage, ask questions, think critically, and most importantly--have fun!
I have been a catechist and elementary teacher in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles since 2000. I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. To me, teaching is my vocation and a true calling from God. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to play an intricate part in your child’s development and love for learning.
I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and now reside in the Antelope Valley. I am a proud mother of the cutest little fur baby and an Auntie. I have enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Yucatan Peninsula, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Jamaica, Greece, France, Hawaii, and even took a road trip from Los Angeles to Maine! I encourage all students to seek similar opportunities and see God’s creations around the world.
I am looking forward to another exciting year at St. Mary School and am grateful for the opportunity to participate in the loving and welcoming St. Mary community.
