Teacher Bio: Hello my name is Mrs. Ofelia Torres. This will be my third year working for St. Mary's School. I have been teaching for the past 20 years. I worked for the Sisters of the Company of Mary for 14 years and worked as a personal nanny/tutor for 9 years. I decided to continue my education and completed my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Grand Canyon University in 2020. While doing my student teaching practice at Saint Mary, I fell in love with the environment I was experiencing and couldn't leave. I asked Ms. Rios for a job and thankfully she accepted me as part of the St. Mary's Family. This is now my third year working at St. Mary's and hopefully many to come. A little about myself, I am 48 years old, I am married, and have three wonderful kids (25, 23, and 16 years old), and one beautiful grandson. I have lived in the Palmdale area for 8 years now and it is finally starting to feel like home.
