Service Hours

Each Saint Mary School family is required to work 40 hours of service.  Up to 20 hours may be ministry performed at the church.  Five of the hours are mandatory involving work in the school cafeteria from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm for one day.  A total of 40 hours of service is required per family, or a monetary fee of $400, whereby $10.00 = 1 hour of service.

All hours must be recorded and submitted to the school office.  Coaching a sports team, serving on boards and volunteering in the classroom may also be credited toward service hours.   The PTO also sponsors many elective fundraisers needing volunteers throughout the school year offering additional service hour opportunities.
